This comfortable family house is located in the central "island" of Kyoto, between two river streams (the Kamogawa river and the Takasegawa canal), and 2 central avenues: Gojo (Fifth Avenue) and Shichijo (Seventh Avenue). 1 km away from Kyoto JR station it is a very convenient location.
This house is a historical machiya built in the 1910s, who served as a so-called teahouse '(chaya 茶屋), it has been restored in 2019 in order to recreate a cosy Japanese house, with more day light and a good thermal insulation.
The ground floor is has a fully equipped kitchen, and a living space facing a backyard. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with tatami and futon mattresses. There are bathrooms on each floor. The house has 4 AC units and a heated floor, it is a comfortable nest. It is ideal for a family of 4 people, up to 6 people when using the downstairs sofa bed.

Ground floor corridor: there is a bathroom in the back, and the kitchen/living room on the left side. The stairs lead to the second floor bedrooms.
The kitchen is full equipped with gas cookers, fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher, and everything you may need for cooking.
There is a dining room and a living room with a sofa bed.
